How do I get started?

Purchase one of the ABL programs available online or call us on the phone. Once your puchase is complete, a Memebership Care Coordinator will reach out for a welcome call to review your goals, and go over a brief questionnaire.
Do I need to visit a clinic?

All care is delivered via telehealth from the comfort of your home. This way you never have to visit a clinic. If your plan includes lab work, either a self administered test is mailed to you or a licensed Nurse may come to your home for bloodwork.
Is the plan the same for everyone?

All clinical recommendations are made individually and tailored to you. Some clients may focus solely on education and lifestyle guidance, while others may qualify for additional medical support.

Each program includes physician oversight. Depending on your evaluation, your plan may also include physician-prescribed therapies such as GLP-1s, testosterone support, and other targeted medicines. Every component is tailored to you and monitored throughout your journey. We also offer options for advanced diagnostics, ongoing transformation advisor sessions, telehealth physical therapy, and personalized guidance across nutrition, habits, and performance when appropriate.
Can I cancel?

Yes. Memberships have a 3-month minimum term; early cancellation during that term is available as described in the Terms & Conditions of Service on this website. After that, your membership is month-to-month and you can cancel anytime by emailing support@abetterlou.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, with no further charges and no cancellation fee. If your provider determines treatment isn't appropriate for you, you'll receive a refund as described in the Terms & Conditions of Service on this website.
How does support work?

You will be paired with a dedicated Membership Care Coordinator who you can call, text or email at any time. Additional support may be provided via an ABL physician, transformation advisor, and physical therapist. Support is delivered through telehealth visits, secure messaging, and scheduled check-ins to review progress, adjust your plan, and ensure you stay on track. With your Membership Care Coordinator, you are never left to figure things out on your own.

How soon can I expect to see progress?

Every member progresses at a different pace. Many people can begin noticing meaningful changes quickly. When prescribed, lab insights and lifestyle guidance, along with medical support, come together to help maximize your progress. Your Membership Care Coordinator is available with any questions you have about weight, energy, and overall wellbeing so that adjustments can be made along the way. The goal is steady, sustainable progress.
Which pharmacy fills prescriptions?

How are medications prescribed?

Important Safety Information
GLP-1 medications are not right for everyone. Semaglutide and tirzepatide carry a boxed warning for possible thyroid C-cell tumors and should not be used by people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2, or during pregnancy. Side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain; serious risks include pancreatitis and gallbladder disease.
Based on average weight loss in clinical trials of FDA-approved medications in adults starting at 230 lbs: about 15% of body weight with semaglutide 2.4 mg (68 weeks) and 21% with tirzepatide 15 mg (72 weeks), with a reduced-calorie diet and increased activity. These trials did not study compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved or reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.
